Description
This Boss 302 Mustang was owned, built, and driven by Marvin McAfee of MCE Engines, based in Los Angeles, California. He purchased the B3 in 1971 and tastefully modified it over the years to suit his specific tastes as influenced by his background in aircraft, powerboat, and motorsport. It was his daily driver for many years and never raced. Currently tilted to me (the late owner’s son).
Additions and Modifications:
- 1970 Boss 302 Crate Engine (Purchased from Ford in 1970 and installed at 37,487 miles on 11/24/72; Balanced and blueprinted, fully grooved main bearings, shot-peened and polished rods, high volume oil pump with enlarged pickup, added pan baffling, head port and polish, Teflon valve seals, three angle valve job, etc.)
- Original NUMBERS MATCHING B302 engine included (0 hours, balanced & blueprinted, OEM carb, distributor, etc.)
- New Magnum 500 15x7 Wheels (US Made) with new Cooper Cobra Radial Tires 235/60-15
- Original 15x7 Steel Wheels with trim rings and hubcaps with F60 and G60 Goodyear Polyglas GT RWL included. (Tires are not serviceable - display only!)
- OEM Rear Window Sport Slats (added)
- OEM Rear Decklid Spoiler (added; 1971 version that sits lower on the deck)
- Added Oil Temp and Pressure Gauges installed in the dash
- Custom Side Outlet Exhausts
- Holley 4150 carburetor, modified for performance, no choke
- H4 Halogen headlights with stone guards
- Metallic Black Lacquer Exterior Finish (originally Medium Blue)
- Boss “Inspired” Gold Pinstriping (replacing originally black oem stripes)

- Repair radiator with upgraded brass core and original tanks
- Replace shift and clutch rubber boots (all 3)
